Dubai Lookbook

Last time I blogged I showed you some of my general holiday snaps that I took whilst I was holidaying in Dubai. I absolutely loved Dubai and would suggest anyone going for the experience of luxury and just general brilliance. 

The big worry I had before going to Dubai was the issue of their dress code. Dubai is a Muslim country as well as an Arab country therefore there is a dress code in place for women especially. This dress code informs visitors as well as women staying in the country to have their shoulders and knees covered whilst in public areas such as shopping malls. With this in my mind I packed accordingly paying close attention to this and being fully aware of it. I was told however, that dressing up and having knee or shoulder out in the evenings was fine and it is also allowed on the beaches and around by the pool. 

I found that the dress code does apply when you are in the shopping malls but sight seeing you could get away with a vest top and a skirt but just pay attention to not revealing too much flesh as you are in a country which does have a dress code.
