Lifestyle 2016 Favourites

Boyfriend Jeans
These jeans were an experimental purchase because I always thought that being short I could never pull off these jeans yet I have found myself totally in love with this style of jean. With their high wasted waist my figure feels amazing and I feel really confident and so confident that I wear these jeans both for informal and formal purposes. For when they are informal I just wear the with my new balance trainers and then wear it’s not formal purposes I add a pair of Russell and Bromley loafers or a heeled sandal. These are ideal jeans and need to be added to your wardrobe this new year.

Denim Pinafores
A must have!! Wear it with a t-shirt, blouse or jumper and you have a stylish yet chic look. I feel 10 years old but very stylish. New Look are great at designing pinafores for a great price so if you’re in need of a pinafore for this Autumn season go to your nearest New Look.

The Man in The High Castle
I began this series at the start of the year and since I finished it I haven’t stopped recommending it to people. The show is set around the idea of Nazi Germany winning the Second World War and taking over America. It does sound very nerdy but you need to let go of your stigmas with sci-fi shows and give into your temptation. This is because it is superb! I absolutely love it and am now addicted to the new series. This is aired on Amazon Prime. Go and get your Prime subscription.

The Grand Tour
Speaking of Amazon Prime. I loved Top Gear when Jeremy Clarkson et all hosted it and so when they launched their show on Amazon Prime I was so excited and it was worth being excited. The show is brilliant; it captures everything their BBC show did with just a much larger budget. This is the chemistry of the three presenters. I am now in love with my Amazon prime subscription.
Royal Blood
Back in 2015 when Jeremy Clarkson was hosting Top Gear I heard a track in one of their VT’s and really liked the sound of it. The sound had a rocky edgy sound and I wondered who it was. I later found that it was Royal Blood. I found the track from the show and loved it but never went and listened to the full album until this year. I downloaded the entire album and have streamed it for most of the year. The whole first album is superb. Has a brilliant sound and the lyrics are also great; I love rocking out to this in the car and the shower.
Taylor Swift
Yes I know the Swift has been out for a while but this year I have definitely become a ‘Swiftette.’ The 1989 album has been my go to album of this year because it is just a pop master piece. The album is pure genius. Taylor has made a brilliant album that is wonderful for letting out some emotions. Whoever Taylor aimed the album at, thank you for breaking her heart and making her so sassy because the album is just amazing.
Quantico
This show was advertised whilst I was watching on other means Scandal, and I was intrigued because the show looked very different. The difference of the show was what appealed to me. I fell in love with the concept of the past working alongside the present storylines and they work really well together. I mentioned it in a few of my posts, the post about my television boxset favourites.
