It's the holiday season if you haven't realised, its the season where we spend the most of a morning in a airport waiting area, checking to see whether our flight is boarding. Holidays are also a time in which we don't have any objection to waking up in the early hours to drive to an airport, strange isn't it? With it being the holiday season I felt that a holiday written lookbook would be an appropriate post, I shall explain the bikini look and why playsuits are a must have for your travels.
Bikini's are an item of clothing that we tend to only where in the Summer months which is probably the most obvious statement to ever be written on a blog, I know but its Sunday and I love to be bloody obvious on this day. Anyway, when it comes to being on holiday, I try to pick bikinis that are plain, mainly so that I can wear them with a nice kimono type jacket which covers my shoulders in the midday sun preventing them from burning.
These particular bikinis are from Next
A pair of wedges I find an appropriate shoe for the evenings on holiday because not only are they comfortable but they also just look like sandals in a photo resulting in you never looking over the top in photos on holiday
Unlike a bikini, a playsuit can be worn throughout the year because it is so versatile; last year I seemed to live in playsuits for both holidays I went on and when I was attending parties and drinking far too much. Playsuits are such a staple piece because all you need is some shoes and perhaps a leather jacket or blazer depending on the occasion. The only issue I find is, is when you're desperate for the loo and have to undress your entire outfit to use the lavatory.
