It might be cloudy outside. It might be raining. It might be windy or just miserable. Do you get my drift? The weather at the moment is dreary and I believe that when the weather is miserable you need to bring in those vibrant camp patterns into your wardrobe. The weather might be dreary but that doesn't mean our attires have to be does it?
Floral prints are a staple print for any wardrobe because high street fashion retailers manage to change the print up regularly to ensure that the print mirrors the season. Through the Autumn we get lots of Autumnal floral prints in the shops but now as Spring is trying to creep in we have the pinks and bold colours coming through. I love floral prints and always end up with a floral shirt in my basket such shirts just remind me of James May's fashion on good Top Gear and it just has a 70's feel which is even better. I thought I'd show you some of my favourites in my wardrobe new and old.
Shirt 1- ASOS: I was given this shirt by my Auntie a few years ago and it has served a great course in my wardrobe. I love the fabulous colours and how most of the lipsticks I own match with this shirt which is great for a spot of co-ordination.
Shirt 2- Boohoo: I brought this shirt last week when I did a Boohoo haul because I wanted another print in my wardrobe that was loud and bold. The shirt says is perfect for such statement. Boohoo are brilliant in my opinion at making blouses and shirts that are universal and that can be taken for evening with a skirt and heels to jeans and a pair of Chelsea boots like today.
What patterns do you approve of?
