A while back I got really into my fashion posts and with my obsession of keeping this blog mixed with lots of variety and went off a fashion focus. Now I am bringing you some more fashion in the form of my latest outfit for a recent event I attended.
Going out for the evening I really enjoy because I love getting dressed up feeling all sassy in my latest outfit choice. I also am a little sad when it comes to choosing the lipstick I want to wear with the outfit.
At the end of September a lot of our favourite shops were offering lots of discount codes with the reboot of University coming around. These discount codes were in favour of Freshers the week of meeting new people, getting drunk with them and forgetting they exist when it comes to the second term or a week later. With this in mind, I took much advantage of Boohoo's 20% discount code for finding the perfect outfit for this occasion. I chose this little black dress from their party section; to begin with I was a little fearful of it because it was a style I had never worn properly being both off the shoulder and a dress slightly above the length I typically opt for. I wanted to however just rock the boat as my Sister says and just go for it. It was a dress I could re wear and I wanted to feel even sassier than I usually do.
For shoes I wore my standard evening shoes which I absolutely adore because of the simplest fact that they give any look that added touch of glamour and they are not as uncomfortable as they look. I can go at least 4 hours on a night out in them before they start to annoy me.

MAKE UP
BASE
Revlon Colourstay Concealer - Fair This foundation is brilliant both for coverage as well as using as an under eye concealer.
Rimmel London Lasting Finish Concealer- I don't usually use two concealers because I tend not to need that much coverage but because I had recently removed some facial hair, yes I admitted on the internet that I have removable facial hair. The unfortunate perks of having dark hair. I used this concealer around my mouth both covering the irritation and also to prevent my red lipstick bleeding.
Benefit Hula Bronzer- This I use in its liquid form which I received in a hula gift set, I find this bronzer to be ideal for giving the illusion of cheek bones. Being a liquid its also slightly more subtle than using a cream based bronzer. To add strong definition I also use Natural Collections Bronzer.
Natural Collection Pressed Powder- I prefer not have a matte based because my skin doesn't have a skin like quality so I often use a powder like this one just to apply around the areas I have concealed.
MUA Undress your Skin- *pink champagne*- this highlighter I found years ago and sort of lost it and then retraced when I was having a clear out and have fallen back in love with it. I love it because it gives my skin that sheen sparkly look just above the cheek bones. Who doesn't love a highlighted cheek bone?
EYES
Revlon Colourstay Quad-Siren 525- This quad I received in the competition I won with Revlon and absolutely adore it. I believe that the quality of the eye shadows really are a match with eye shadows from Urban Decay for example. This quad is perfect for a smokey eye which was the eye I opted for this evening.
Revlon Colour Stay Eyeliner- This felt lip liner I saw on Tanya Burr's channel and wanted to give it a go because if its a ok for TB it is more than ok for my needs. The felt tip is perfect for precise liners along the lash line before and after the application of false lashes.
Eye Lure Lashes 015 "Natural'- These lashes although they are natural looking lashes they are ideal for adding that bit extra to your lashes for an evening out. If you apply mascara before and after the application your lashes look incredible, looking fluttery as ever.
Essence Lash Princess Volume Mascara- This mascara I absolutely adore and frequently mention on this blog because I thin the brand are really underrated. This mascara is perfect for any occasion. For evening as this look was or just for an everyday eye look. I find myself re-purchasing this mascara on multiple occasions. The mascara also works well when applied onto false lashes like today.
Eyebrows
LIPS
Tanya Burr Lipstick- Wild Safari - This lipstick is part of TB's latest collection as a part of her lipstick launch and is a beautiful red which is perfect for wearing with that little black dress but also this time of year as we are actually approaching the festive season.
